Description
Description
- Mechanically coupled cylinders are pneumatic rodless linear drives with slides that are moved with the piston via a mechanical coupling. With this design, the pneumatic chamber is open in longitudinal direction and is sealed to the outside by a flexible sealing band in front of and behind the piston. These linear drives are used especially where piston rod cylinders take up too much space or the required stroke length is longer than is possible with piston rod cylinders.
